CARLISLE, Pa. — Police in Cumberland County have charged six suspects accused of conspiring to steal $320,000 worth of Apple products from a Middlesex Township warehouse earlier this year.

The alleged theft occurred on October 30 at a GEODIS facility located on S. Middlesex Road, police said. GEODIS is a global transport, logistics and supply chain management company with multiple locations across Central Pennsylvania.

Middlesex Township Police said they were contacted by the West Chicago Police Department on Oct. 29 about an investigation into an organized cargo theft ring that targeted Apple products. As part of the investigation, tracking devices were placed on several vehicles believed to be involved in the conspiracy, police said.

Police were dispatched to GEODIS that day for the report of an attempted theft of Apple products, according to the criminal complaint affidavit filed by investigators.
