Tow Truck Related Fraud Ring Investigation

NICB assisted the FBI with an investigation on a tow truck related fraud ring that allegedly took control over and corrupted a tow truck and auto repair shop in New York. This ring allegedly used violence and intimidation against rival truck companies.

The agent provided ISO claims searches, Net Map reports with question claims and member company claim files.

As a result, the leader of the ring was arrested and charged with Racketeering Conspiracy, Violent Crime to Aid in Racketeering Murder and Assault with Dangerous weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Assault with Dangerous Weapon and Attempted Murder, Firearm Offenses.  Additional arrests are anticipated.
