The Spokesman-Review reported on three wildfires that closed a section of Highway 195 south of Spokane and sparked evacuations Wednesday afternoon. Firefighters were able to control the fire before it reached any homes, and evacuation levels were lowered to Level 2 (Get Set) by Wednesday evening.
