New Hampshire Man Among 8 Cited For Contractor Fraud In Florida

MONROE COUNTY, Fla. - Authorities in Florida are taking a strong stance against unlicensed contracting activity, as evidenced by a recent sting operation in Monroe County. Eight individuals were cited on Monday for working as contractors without the proper licensing, a violation that puts consumers at risk and undermines legitimate businesses.

The citations were the result of a collaborative investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the Florida Department of Business and Regulation, and the Monroe County State Attorney’s Office.

The following individuals received mandatory notices to appear in court:

・Carlos Alvarez, 39, Miami, Florida

・Luis Antonio Rosales, 56, Miami, Florida

・Alexis Rosario, 54, Miami, Florida

・Larry Holmes, 66, Winchester, New Hampshire
