LADA Charges 11 Additional Los Angeles County Employees with Pandemic Unemployment Benefit Fraud
LOS ANGELES – Eleven additional Los Angeles County employees have been charged with felony grand theft for fraudulently claiming unemployment benefits while they were still working full-time between 2020 and 2023.
This follows charges announced in October against 13 Los Angeles County employees accused of stealing unemployment benefits during the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing the total amount allegedly stolen to $741,518.
