Four suspects charged in Middle Georgia cargo theft ring

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/ WMGT) – Four men have been arrested in connection with an ongoing cargo theft investigation involving stolen trailers loaded with electronics, appliances and other merchandise, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

On December 4, 2024, a 911 call reported two semi-trailers missing from Forest Park, Georgia, with GPS showing their location in Macon. Deputies found one trailer on Eisenhower Parkway near Interstate 475 and another in the 3100 block of Antioch Road. Both were empty, with only pallets left inside.

On June 15, 2025, authorities received another report of a missing trailer loaded in Atlanta. It had last been parked in the 3400 block of Napier Avenue on June 13. The trailers had been carrying merchandise including flat-screen televisions, wall mounts, mini fridges, sinks and consumable goods.

Investigators identified multiple suspects. On July 21, 2025, officers executed a search warrant in the 500 block of Bartlett Street, recovering several stolen items and multiple stolen trailers.

Quintin Marques Barkley and Travis Dewaine Harvey were each charged with felony theft by taking and violating the Georgia RICO Act. Willie Bernard Bigby was charged with felony theft by taking, felony theft by receiving stolen property and violating the Georgia RICO Act. He was also wanted in Dooly County at the time of his arrest.

Terrell Jamelle Cordy was charged with felony theft by taking, felony theft by receiving stolen property and violating the Georgia RICO Act. Cordy had been out on a Superior Court bond for multiple charges, including hit and run, criminal damage to property, fleeing and eluding police, obstruction and several motor vehicle offenses. His bond was surrendered.

All four suspects were denied bond and remain at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
